Suppliers  

In Mexico, Brambles is collaborating with a sawmill to convert residual wood waste into biochar, sequestering carbon while creating a high-value soil amendment for forest use.  

Service centres  

At our service centres, including in Germany and in Houston, USA, Brambles is working to identify alternative waste solutions for wood waste with local biochar producers. With solutions like this, we aim to scale circular pathways and reduce disposal volumes and emissions.  

Customers  

On the commercial side, we are actively engaging two key customers in the agriculture sector in Spain to explore biochar use in their farms, where it can act as a decarbonisation and regeneration tool, improving soil health, increasing water retention and reducing farm emissions.  

These efforts are helping to position Brambles as a sustainability and regeneration leader across the entire pallet value chain.
